Antonson recognized for rural health leadership

NDHC's former CEO Pete Antonson has been named the North Dakota 2023 Community Star by the Center for Rural Health and the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health.

Antonson served as NDHC chief operation officer for 22 years before stepping down from that role in 2022. He continues to serve as the chief financial officer.

He has dedicated his career to improving rural health in North Dakota and remains active in state and national leadership roles.

The Community Star is an annual recognition program honoring individuals and organizations going above and beyond for rural health. "Pete exemplifies the true spirit of collaboration, turning challenges into opportunities, ensuring access to quality care, and fostering a sense of unity and support within rural communities," said the Center for Rural Health in its announcement of Pete's selection.
