Northwood Deaconess Health Center’s nursing home has been awarded a five-star rating by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) our outstanding care and service.
CMS created the quality rating system to help consumers, their families, and caregivers compare long-term care centers. On the CMS Nursing Home Care Compare website, care centers are rated with one to five stars. Nursing homes with 5 stars are, according to CMS, considered to have much above average quality.
There is one overall rating and separate ratings for health inspections, staffing, and quality measures.
“This achievement reflects our team’s commitment to delivering exceptional care to our residents,” said CEO Brock Sherva. “Our CNAs, nurses, and team of healthcare professionals are the heartbeat of the residents’ home. We take tremendous pride in fostering a nurturing environment that supports residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being.”
