NDHC is proud to support area youth who intend to pursue healthcare careers with an emphasis on rural health.

NDHC Health Profession Scholarship

NDHC supports area students who are pursuing health careers with an interest in working in rural healthcare. Scholarships of $500 - $1,000 may be awarded, based on funding availability and applications received.  High school seniors and college students who have been accepted into a post-secondary health profession program are invited to apply.

Applicant criteria

• Cumulative GPA of at least 3.25

• Intent of pursuing rural healthcare career

• Quality of application responses

• Preference is given to students attending high schools, colleges and universities in communities served by NDHC​
